How it works

MIDI File Reader loads a MIDI file and plays it back in sync with score’s musical timeline. It automatically handles tempo conversions and provides clean note-off messages when files change.

MIDI file - Load any standard MIDI file (.mid/.midi)
The process automatically monitors the file for changes, so you can edit MIDI files in external software and hear updates immediately.

MIDI track (1-127, default 1) - Select which track to play
Most MIDI files contain multiple tracks - drums on track 10, different instruments on other tracks. Choose the track you want to hear.

The output is a clean MIDI stream that can feed into synthesizers, MIDI utilities, or other MIDI-processing tools.
